I arrived safely yesterday morning- I can't believe I'm already here in Europe! I assembled my bike at the airport & took it on the train from Gatwick to London. It took some time getting used to maneuvering my bags & bike at the same time, but all's well. Walked the bike from Victoria station to the hostel, which is right around the corner from St Paul's Cathedral. On the way, I went by Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. I tried to take lots of pics :) I met up with my friend Prajay in the evening & we had a great time. We went across the Thames to the London Eye - it's a giant ferris wheel from which you can see all of London! We then made our way to Soho for dinner. Today, I slept in to get over the jet lag, checked out of the hostel, & walked around some more. I walked by the Tate Gallery, over the London Bridge, & to the Tower of London. Then meandered by the financial district - there are some amazing buildings! Tonight, I take the train to York to visit with Dana. So far, I'm having a great time!!
